This was a very educational and moving experience. The sacrifices made by our young men are difficult to comprehend. The brutality against our troops, particularly by the Japanese, and the brutality against the Jews by the Nazis was horrendous.
The glass case beside this ambulance contains a notebook kept by an Army Doctor who recorded notes of all his patients. It is open to the pages describing his treatment to a young man named Bob Dole, who later ran for President of the United States.
