It was a little foggy when we got into New Orleans.
This was the entrance to the French Market.
This sculpture was next to the entrance.
It stretched for several city blocks.

Don’t worry, I stepped off the tracks in time.
The first floor of most buildings are shops with apartments above them. All the balconies overlook Decatur Street across from the French Market.
This one had neat statues at each end.
All decked out for Mardi Gras.
This one had seven bicycles on it. I can’t imagine taking them up and down the staircase.

We saw many mules drawing carriages but this was the only white one.

Elaine found the only quilt shop in New Orleans. Note the short sleeves, sandals and shorts. It was sunny and 75° today.
